I am originally from Nova Scotia and married my amazing wife Christine in Toronto before moving to Montreal, for what was expected to be three years. That was over twenty years ago and here we are. My training was as a medical researcher (neuroscience) and yes, a scientist can believe very much in God. We originally attended various parishes in the area, but quickly found a home at St. Ignatius of Loyola. We have always enjoyed the welcoming and comfortable atmosphere of St. Ignatius and the real sense of community and belonging that is lacking in so many peoples’ lives. Our three wonderful boys Aidan, Thomas and Ewan all attended the parish Faith First program and all went on to Loyola High School. I am honoured to be part of the Parish Pastoral Council and also enjoy serving as a parish warden and as a lector at Sunday mass.
