My faith journey began in earnest when at 18 years old I fell in love with God. From that moment on my life would be guided by this new relationship.
I began working in the church in the mid eighties, beginning with children’s liturgy and then sacramental initiation. I would become a pastoral animator, and begin studying theology at Concordia University. I acquired a B.A. Specialization in Theological Studies, minor in Digital Image and Sound and the Fine Arts. I also began meditation and contemplative prayer at that time, which I have been practicing ever since.
Later I would aquire a masters degree in Theological Studies and began working in a school board as the Spiritual and Community Life Animator. After 8 years of working in the schools I would return to parish work, as a PCL and later as a youth ministry coordinator. I would also nearly complete a bachelor of Fine Arts, major drawing and painting.
I have been a member of Spiritual Directors International for 11 years, having joined once I had completed a certification in ecumenical spiritual direction, from the Mount Carmel Spiritual Center in Niagara Falls, Ontario.
I am thrilled to be here at St Ignatius of Loyola parish, serving this wonderful community and working with an amazing team of people.
