An invitation to parishes in the West End Montreal: reflect on what you have experienced this past year through the lens of Pope Francis’ encyclical Laudato Si: Care for our Common Home. Every now and again it helps to pause from our busy lives and church ministries, to reflect and enter into dialogue about our common home and the fragility of this planet earth. Pope Francis urges us to do this and proclaims this is a dialogue for everyone. Kim Gottfried Piché will lead a reflection day for West end parishes on Saturday November 4, 2017 at St. Veronica’s Parish Hall, 9 am to 3:30 pm. Bring a brown bag lunch. RSVP please to Kim Piché at 514 931-7311 ext 211 or KPiche@diocesemontreal.org
Kim Gottfried Piché is Coordinator for English-faithful for the Diocesan Social Action Office whose mission is to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ in today’s culture, to inform the baptized about the social dimension of the faith, and to invite the People of God to participate in initiatives which embody the principles of Catholic social teaching: respect for the dignity of the human person, promotion of the common good, the preferential love for the poor, subsidiarity and solidarity, care of creation.
